Midwestern Millwright Inc. was founded in 1997 by a dedicated team of skilled fabricators, engineers, and field crews. We began in a modest 1,400-square-foot shop, offering a wide range of industrial services including portable welding and farm repair.
In 2012, we expanded again adding a 4,800 square foot office.
In 2017, we added 2,800 square feet for our new waterjet cutting division.
In 2024, we added a new Mazak 450Y Quickturn CNC lathe, and a Summit 30-5x160B lathe to expand our machining capabilities.
In 2025, we expanded once again, adding an 11,900 SF building to our facilities, bringing our total manufacturing and machining space to over 39,000 SF.
Recently, we took delivery of our new, highly advanced system to form helical screw flight. Our SuperTyro Flight Forming System, by Advanced Spiral Technology, is one of only a handful in the country. This new technology allows for fast turnaround times on custom orders, with extreme accuracy and efficiency. We can form flight up to 48″ in diameter and 1 1/4″ thick!
After nearly 30 years, Midwestern Millwright has grown from a small team of 6 employees to more than 38 skilled professionals. We have licensed civil and structural engineers on staff in Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Under the leadership of Coy Palmer and his dedicated team, we continue the tradition of excellence that has defined our company since 1997.
